NorthgateArinso appoints Sidney Yuen as Managing Director & Vice President for Greater China
Hong Kong – August 10, 2011 - NorthgateArinso (NGA), the leading global provider of HR systems and services, has appointed Sidney Yuen as Managing Director & Vice President for Greater China.
Mr. Yuen will be responsible for leading NGA’s growth strategy in Greater China, including the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Macau and Hong Kong. The appointment underlines NGA’s continued commitment to the region and to growing its China and Asia-Pacific customer communities.
Mr. Yuen has more than 30 years general management experience within the Asia-Pacific and Chinese HR consulting and outsourcing industry. He is a reputed thought leader across a variety of industries including government, financial services, NGO and manufacturing. His previous career history includes leadership roles at The Swire Group , BAT, American Express, Royce HR Management Consultants, HBC, Andersen Business Consulting and Convergys Corporation.

Mr. Yuen holds post graduate degrees from Limerick University in Ireland, The Chinese University in Hong Kong and The University of East Asia in Macau. In addition, Mr. Yuen is chairman of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals - HK (IAOP), Asia Pacific Contact Centre Association Leaders (APCCL) and also holds advisory positions to a number of government bodies, universities and charitable organizations in China.
