The use of technology in HR management has grown considerably in recent years and has played an even greater role recently, with HR departments feeling the full force of company restructuring and right sizing in the present economy. By automating many processes, HR has been able to reduce time spent on routine administrative tasks, freeing time to manage the HR function. Despite the growth in the use of technology in HR, this is still an area many HR professionals have yet to embrace fully.
