NorthgateArinso Streamlines JYSK Human Resource Processes
NorthgateArinso, the leading global Human Resources software & services provider, today announced it has contracted and delivered to JYSK, a leading European retailer in home articles, a SAP HR Human Capital Management system. The new HR system enables each JYSK store decentralised management of their HR processes in recruiting, personnel administration and reporting, suited to the fast moving world of the retail industry. At the same time, the system enables JYSK to retain a company-wide overview of HR data to enable a truly efficient HR service, where decentralised operations and central management and overview go hand-in-hand.

The new system will enable streamlined, user-friendly HR processes,” said Benny Pedersen, IT Manager at JYSK.
New web-based technology enables companies to replace old-fashioned centralised HR functions with efficient administration close to the employees. In JYSK stores, integrated solutions where data is entered only once improve efficiency, and strategic reporting enables monitoring and improvement of HR performance throughout the organisation giving JYSK a global overview of up-to-date HR data at any given time. Within the home furnishing retail industry, JYSK is one of the very first Nordic companies to adopt these new technologies.

The system was piloted in several Swedish JYSK stores and is scheduled to be implemented in Finland, Norway and Poland in 2010. The system will be rolled out to other JYSK markets shortly after the first wave.
